Let It Rain, Let It Pour, Lord, I Want You More.
Let it rain, let it pour,
Lord, I want You more —
More than all this world can offer,
Vain pursuits only satisfy the scoffer.
Its valleys deep and seas so wide,
Are all a part of what You provide.
I, who am guilty of deviation,
Am still, Oh Lord, Your creation;
So mold me, Lord, into Your daughter,
I, the clay and You, the Potter.
Your grace, I need, in this world of woe,
On bended knee, I come to let it all go.
My resolve, at times, may be weak;
But it is You alone, that I seek.
So if, within Your will, the floods come my way;
As I face the waves, I still will say,
— Let it rain, let it pour,
Lord, I want You more.
