A Soul That’s Homeless

A soul that’s homeless,

Never rests.

A soul that’s homeless,

Seeks everything,

Only to be left with nothing.

A soul that’s homeless,

Has never tasted true satisfaction.

A soul that’s homeless,

Suppresses one, soul desire,

For a million fickle desires.

A soul that’s homeless,

Constantly wanders for a place to stay.

A soul that’s homeless,

Is a lot like a soul without Jesus,

Restless, afraid and dying.
